Service Description

The aim of this session is to: Develop basic skills in using a swing machine to enable parents and carers to repair and alter clothing to save money. By the end of the session you will be able to: LO1: Demonstrate correct threading of a machine in preparation for sewing. LO2: Name three parts of a sewing machine. LO3: List 3 different stitches and their use LO4: Demonstrate filling a spool correctly Additional Information: - You will receive a reminder email prior to the event - If you have any questions before the event, please email adultlearning@blackburn.gov.uk Late arrival of more than 15 minutes may result in participants not being able to enter the session
