607 - Youth Mental Health First Aid

Service Description

One in four people in the UK will experience at least one diagnosable mental health issue in any one year (Health & Social Care Information Centre, 2009). Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid. This two-day course offers intensive MHFA training for those working with or supporting young people to improve awareness of Mental Health difficulties, presentations in young people and learn where support can be provided to young people to access the help they need.
