Service Description

Have you ever wanted to know more about the plants trees and flowers you see while out walking? Come and join one of our walks in nature and learn how to identify a range of species **Please note the following** Starting Point will be at The Pavilion, Witton Park. This is suitable for complete beginners but you should be physically mobile to take part. Come dressed in weather appropriate clothing and wear sturdy boots or trainers as the ground could be muddy and slippery. Access for pedestrians is a 7 to 10 minute walk from the Main entrance off the A674 - follow the signs for the Pavilion as you come through the gate to the yard area. A location map is available on request. Mobility parking is available near the Pavilion but you will need a blue badge and radar to access it. There is a free car park on Tower Road, which is a longer walk of 10 minutes plus. The car park at the main entrance charges 60p for 2 hours and £1.80 for all day. Public toilets are within walking distance at the Pavillion.
