Service Description
One in four people in the UK will experience at least one diagnosable mental health issue in any one year (Health & Social Care Information Centre, 2009). Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid. This half day session helps learners to recognise in young people they work with or support in what mental health is and have an awareness of common mental health issues including what factors affect mental health.
