Service Description
Are you thinking about a career in schools? Would you like to be able to understand all about how your child develops through learning? If so, this course is a great introduction and first step towards gaining a qualification and learning about how a child learns. Skills required: Must have English language skills at Entry Level 3 or higher. The content of the course is as follows: Course Aim: The aim of this unit is to develop the learners’ knowledge and understanding of the types of learning experiences, which could be shared with children and the importance of these experiences to promote learning. By the end of this course you will be able to: 1. Know how children learn 2. Know how to use stories and rhymes with young children 3. Understand that the natural word can support children’s learning 4. Know how the local community can be used to broaden children’s experiences Additional Information: You will receive a reminder prior to the event.
