What the Learning Centres can offer you
Each centre offers a wide range of learning opportunities, from short one-off activities to our adult learning programme of courses e.g. language, crafts, computer courses etc.
Negotiate your learning
We are also interested in finding out what you want to learn so, if we don’t provide it, tell us and we will do our very best to look at meeting your needs.
Help is available
If you are anxious about getting back into learning or think that a disability or learning difficulty would make it hard for you to join in – then please don’t worry. Every centre can offer a wide range of support, from having a learning buddy sitting with you and helping you, to specialist equipment to make using computers or reading handouts easier. Just tell the centre staff what you need and they’ll be happy to help.
Our staff are also on hand to help you decide where to go next – whether you want to carry on learning, take qualifications or training, find employment or change careers.
